After a long (20+ years) hiatus from knitting, all the blogs I've seen inspired me to get busy. So here is this week's progress.

To start things off on a positive note, we have our first official FO.

This is a Rolled Brim Baby Hat with Topknot; yarn is Plymouth Encore Colorspun, color 7512.

And we have quite a few WIP......pretty much standard fare.

Socks?

These are based on Grumperina's Jaywalkers -- but without the pattern (OK, very loosely based). The yarn is Austermann's Step, color 41.

And we can't forget fingerless gloves.....

These are Kim's Sockotta Fingerless Gloves in Sockotta color 507. I started them on two circular needles, but the stitches kept getting hung up on the joint between the needle and cord (whatever it's called) - see the picture. It was so annoying that I went back to dp needles and used the circulars as stitch holders.

And finally, a scarf to have on standby when you just need something to knit -- no thinking required. It'll probably go to charity. The pattern is a k1/p1 and it's Lion Brand Homespun yarn.
