From My Front Porch Looking Out

Winter can seem to last forever -- especially during the month of February. But every once in a while, there's an absolutely gorgeous day when the sky is an amazing color of blue and the air is so crisp.

And what better to do on such a day (if one doesn't ski, skate, or participate in other outdoor winter activity)? Knit, of course (sewing works too). Alert blog viewers will notice that these socks are NOT the same ones I was working on last week. The Lava Flow socks had to be ripped out -- yarn and needles/pattern such didn't go together (too fat yarn/too skinny needles). So we're trying again with Priscilla's Dream Socks -- already they feel better.

How about knitting while skiing?
