Early Summer Time

Summer seems to have arrived in a hurry. It went from 60 to 90+ degrees in a day. Hopefully it won't do in the peonies. These are my favorite flower. And I really love the fragrance.
It's definitely too hot to knit out on the patio now. But with oil prices where they are.....shawls are going to be this winter's fashion statement. At least in this house. I have three knit alongs underway. The Slow Bee shawl was supposed to be for slower knitters -- but the person who renamed it "Busy Bee" was right. I'm 1+ clues behind on this one -- 5 clues released, 3 completed, and who knows how many clues total. But I do love the way it looks. You can't see where a cat chewed through the yarn tail and then where I accidentally cut the spliced in end......

That's so fancy!!!! Hard to imagine it being cold with heat like you're having. However, I do recall all that snow you had last year.
