Getting Ready for Chilly Weather

Fall is definitely in the air and it's getting quite chilly -- the pumpkins are thoroughly frosted and the forecast is for below average temperatures through the end of the month. Given the price of home heating oil, it was time to get busy on the roman shades. The current target room has four drafty windows -- this first shade was the prototype ("measure twice, cut once"). The instructions were courtesy of Terrell Designs. She has easy to follow instructions and all the hardware you need.
Here's the shade half way open and completely open. Closed, it just looks like a panel of fabric covering the window.

I think it came out well (if I do say so myself) -- now to finish the other three!
