No Stress Fest

This year has just not seemed very festive -- with the economy, ice storm, snow storm, etc, etc. What has always been a modest Christmas, became even more so. But we refused to succumb to the mania and declared this year the "no stress fest."

Usually we have a live tree and decorations throughout the house. This year, the fiber-optic tree was from a Target clearance sale many years ago. The gifts were all handknit/homemade and the snacks homemade and/or our favorites.





The decorations were definitely minimal.

However........the food was delicious and plentiful (not that I had anything to do with it). And most important of all, it was fun and stress-free.
