Another FINALLY Finished Project

It seems like I've been working on the Aeolian Shawl forever, but it's really only been a month. This is definitely the prettiest FO (for me) ever. I've been working on it Thursdays when I go into the local senior center to do Medicare counseling and the ladies there have been watching its progress. This week they had to take it away and show it off to everyone there. It was gone for at least 30 minutes at one point (and the senior center isn't that big).

I think I'll make another.....somewhat bigger this time. Maybe using larger beads instead of nupps....and fewer beads on the "flowers."

I did feel like a doofus at first. I printed out the pattern (in black and white) and was merrily knitting along, following the charts........when I realized the charts we really in color and what I thought was gray was really an orangy color......and meant something totally different. Oh well. No project is complete till it's ripped out at least two times.

This is knit in Knit Picks Shadow. The total weight of the shawl is 75 grams -- 48 yarn and 27 beads. The size is about 38 inches wide by 19 inches long. I love it.

Oooohh, it's breathtakingly beautiful! I clicked the picture to "biggie" it and I'm so glad I did. I can see every bead, and it's so gorgeous. Awesome job!!

This is gorgeous! How much will it cost to have you make one for me in black?
