Some Knitting Content

Have you heard of Bertrum Thumbcat?  A cat with opposable thumbs who is threatening world domination in an attempt to steal all Cravendale milk?  Well, he is recruiting an army of cats and Camellia has joined in.

But the really amazing thing is that I finally finished another shawl.  It's not that I haven't been knitting, there's just more ripping than knitting going on.  It's the Live Shawl (as in "live long and prosper") done in a solid, variegated combination (Foxfire Fiber flock sock and Classic Elite Alpaca Sox).  It's what I term a utility shawl.  Not beaded and lacy, but rather one intended to be worn with jeans, sweatshirts, etc.  Perfect for the fall.  I pretty much followed the pattern, except using stockinette rather than garter rows for the variegated yarn....still hate the purl bumps in variegated yarn.
