I don't know what it was, but this bread certainly didn't rise. It was denser than a loaf of lead. As they say on the Craft Fail blog: NAILED IT!
The next day I make some bread the conventional way and it came out just fine. So who knows?

Nailed It
I saw a a really cool idea on pinterest for making bread in the crockpot and thought I'd give it a try. All the comments were pretty positive. What could possibly go wrong?
I don't know what it was, but this bread certainly didn't rise. It was denser than a loaf of lead. As they say on the Craft Fail blog: NAILED IT!
