Fly Away

A crazy (or smart) robin made her nest in the rhododendron in front of our house.  We could peek out the front windows and see her, then her babies, growing right in front of us.  We gave up mowing right in front of the house to give the little family some space (she complained mightily when we got too close).  All week we'd seen the little ones practice flapping their wings and grooming themselves.  On Saturday they were standing on the edge of the next.  By Sunday they were gone.
