This has been a very cold winter and the thought of toasty warm mittens -- lined even -- was very appealing.
So I cast on. The main color is Duck Egg, the contrast is Sencha. Already they feel cozy. And I really wish I were a faster knitter.

Gasp - Some Knitting
About a year (or so) ago I signed up for a knit-a-long. To make the Fiddlehead Mittens in Foxfire Fiber Wool and Alpaca Twist. I had the pattern, I had the yarn, but never made the mittens.
This has been a very cold winter and the thought of toasty warm mittens -- lined even -- was very appealing.
So I cast on. The main color is Duck Egg, the contrast is Sencha. Already they feel cozy. And I really wish I were a faster knitter.
