Snow, Snow, Snow

It's been unbelievably snowy.  The pile at our front door is way over my head.

So why haven't I gotten more done craft-wise?  Oh, maybe because I keep ripping it out.  9 inches of my sweater gone.  Funny how it's faster to rip than to knit.  After reworking several inches of cable two times, I decided that the cable had to go.....

Oh my that IS a ton of snow.
My vet feels the animals search less for the dead once they see them gone. I read a book about HOW ANIMLAS GRIEVE and it also suggested other pets in the house view the body.
Rabbits in particular weill search and search if their partner is not shown to them. So sad huh

That's very interesting. We had two sibling cats (twins) die within a week of each other. It was as if they knew the other was gone. I'm convinced another cat died of a broken heart because her mother (cat) was sick and could no longer "mother" her. They were 14 and 16 years old. The mother died shortly thereafter. Very interesting.
