Sunday is My Funday

It's a snowy Sunday here.....so what better thing to do than bake some cookies and knit!


Wait -- is that a mushed chocolate kiss I see on the top right front? Yes! I'd better eat that one myself. Don't want to subject anyone else to a defective cookie. The sacrifices I make....

Obviously one needs to so something while watching cookies bake -- so we have an update on two works in progress. First are the SAM5 February socks. One down, one cast on and lace pattern rows started.

Then we have something new. I've been having so much trouble with the black hat and Ice Queen cowl that I'm letting them rest for a little while (but I will prevail and conquer them). Since one can't have just one project going -- I started another. It'll be a felted bag when finished -- though it looks like a big blob of yarn now. I've never felted before -- probably not a good idea to try something completely new while recovering from two problem projects. Oh well -- no guts, no glory.
