Between a Rock and a Hard Place

During one of the two earlier winter weather events (aka snow storms) we had this week, the plows deposited a very large rock in our driveway. We (well, B-Dad) moved it to the side -- but given the planned 3-6 inches of snow expected tonight, we thought it would be nice to move it off the driveway completely. I uncovered it today and realized that's not happening anytime soon --not only is it heavy, now it's frozen into place.

We have to hope our rhododendrons survived. This poor guy looks like someone on the beach covered in sand.

Come on spring.
