Felted and Finally Finished

This bag seems to have taken forever to finish. It was really just two months, but the endless rounds of plain knitting seemed to last forever.

Remember the bag before felting?

Here is is finished. The felted version is approximately 75 percent of the original. It appears to shrink more vertically than horizontally. Next time I'll have to take better measurements.

I Need a Bag

The pattern is Turtlegirl's It Felt Random Bag knit from two skeins of Paton's Classic Wool in the color Palais (self striping).

The jury is out on it. I like the bag itself. My grommet application skills are not that great and I'm not sure about the straps. I might have to swap them for something else. I'll use it on a trial basis and see if it needs some modifications.

Felting is fun.
