Finally - An Update

It seems like there wasn't much project progress being made around here. That's the problem with working on five knitting projects simultaneously.....no one project gets enough attention. But we've knocked one into the finished object pile. The SAM5 June socks are finished -- just in time. That makes a perfect 6 for 6 record -- and I'm ready for SAM6 starting tomorrow. July socks are footies using stash yarn -- we're working them in a Ravelry KAL. Here are the June socks -- Priscilla's Dream Socks from Interweave Knits Favorite Socks book, knit with Filatura di Crosa Maxime yarn.

I've also been making steady progress on two mystery KALs (slow but steady wins the race). The Mystic Meadows stole (blue) is half done (2 of 4 clues complete). The Slow Bee shawl (cream) is about a third done (4 clues of 8 released, potentially 12 total).

The first five attempts at the Goddess Knits Anniversary Mystery Shawl went into the frog pond -- the yarn was just too fine (think knitting with thread). I got some new yarn, so hope to re-start that this week.

And finally, the Lace Ribbon scarf just waits patiently for me to return and knit a few rows -- eventually it will be finished.

those socks will be perfect to wear on July 4th (if not too warm). Good job on getting it all done in time. I like the cream shawl. What is it with knitters and soo many projects going on at once? :giggle

Wow, how do you have the patience to sit and do all that?
